Four Worlds help sponsor the first Indigenous Peoples Games of Panama. This was done in preparation for the II World Indigenous Games to be held in Canada later in 2017. The Panama Indigenous Games were held at the community of Digir at the end of May 2017. In this competition, teams from the Ngobes, Bugles, Emberas and Gunas a;; participated. The Gunas took 40 medals and each indigenous nation shared their Ancestral Dance and the Ancestral knowledge. This was the first time such an event was held on the national level in Panama. The intent is to conduct these games annually hereafter.
